Lagos Cultural Center launches two free art exhibitions

The Centro Cultural de Lagos opened its third 2026 exhibition cycle on 18 July, presenting two free shows that run until 26 September, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00‑18:00. "Entre o Invisível e o Essencial" features works by Joana Varatojo and Clara Buser, exploring transformation through colour, abstraction and symbolism. "Core Cuore", curated by the cultural association casaBranca, showcases digital‑culture pieces by Andy Thomas, Jordan Stone, Molly Soda, John Rising and Noper, addressing hyper‑connectivity, information overload and identity on social media.

The opening includes a collective painting activity “Sementes para o Futuro”, repeated on 19 September, a painting‑and‑collage workshop led by Clara Buser on 25 July, and a voice‑and‑mantra circle on 26 September. The programme is organized by the Municipality of Lagos with support from the Directorate‑General for the Arts and the Portuguese Network of Theatres and Cinemas.
