Lagos Deputy Governor Hamzat emphasizes education and community partnerships

Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat has engaged with various community sectors to promote development and stability in the state.

Addressing the start of a new academic session, Hamzat encouraged students to approach their studies with determination and confidence. He emphasized that education serves as the foundation for a prosperous Lagos and called for increased collaboration between the government, parents, and the private sector to ensure access to technology-driven, future-ready learning.

In a separate engagement, Hamzat met with the leadership of Christ Embassy, including founder Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. During the meeting, the Deputy Governor highlighted the significant role faith-based organizations play in family welfare, youth empowerment, and community building. He stressed that sustainable development in Lagos requires collective efforts and partnerships across religious and secular institutions.
