Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu donates bus to support group and orders road repairs

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has initiated several administrative and infrastructure-focused actions within the state.

In a political development, Sanwo-Olu fulfilled a pledge to the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 (SWAC 4 ABAT AGAIN) by donating a new Coaster bus. The group, composed of members of the Arewa community in the Southwest, intends to use the vehicle to support political mobilization and advocacy for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Simultaneously, the Governor has directed the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) to begin immediate road reconstruction and rehabilitation projects across the state. Taking advantage of the dry season, the agency is focusing on several key areas, including the Oshodi-Isolo axis, Ojodu, Ikeja, Shomolu, and Alimosho. The goal of these repairs is to address infrastructure deficits, improve mobility, and reduce transportation costs for residents and businesses.
