Accord Party Announces Lagos Candidates for 2027 Elections
The Lagos State chapter of the Accord Party unveiled 27 candidates to contest the 2027 general elections, covering the governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly seats. Certificates of Return were presented at a ceremony in Lagos, formally confirming the party’s flag‑bearers.
Party chairman Dele Oladeji, who is also running for the Lagos West Senate seat, said the unveiling marks the start of the party’s campaign and offers Lagosians a credible alternative. He reaffirmed the party’s endorsement of Gbenga Olawepo‑Hashim as its presidential candidate. "Today is significant because it affirms the candidates of the Accord Party in Lagos State for the 2027 general election," Oladeji said.
Candidates highlighted priorities such as infrastructure development, job creation, transparent governance and greater inclusion of women and youth. They urged voters to obtain Permanent Voter Cards and called for free, fair and transparent elections. The party emphasized its commitment to social justice, public welfare, security and inclusive governance.
