Laguna Beach woman interrupts romantic marriage proposal

A romantic marriage proposal in Laguna Beach, California, was interrupted by a confrontation involving an unidentified woman at Crescent Bay Point Park on October 2.

Video footage shows the woman approaching a hired videographer and photographer who were setting up a romantic display featuring rose petals and a mariachi band. The woman, who claimed to be a local resident, demanded the setup be dismantled, stating that the park is for residents to enjoy for picnics. The confrontation escalated with the woman using profanity and reportedly telling the crew to ‘Go back to Mexico’ as the Latino couple approached the cliffside location.

While the city of Laguna Beach requires permits for filming, it remains unclear if the production crew had obtained the necessary documentation for the shoot.
