Laguna Blanca hosts successful Fiesta Nacional del Pomelo

The 42nd edition of the Fiesta Nacional del Pomelo concluded in Laguna Blanca with a successful display of gaucho skills and horse parades during the doma y jineteada event. The festivities drew significant crowds and featured various cultural and commercial activities.

Alongside the traditional displays, the Polideportivo Municipal ‘Evita’ hosted a gastronomic, artisanal, and commercial expo, including a community market for entrepreneurs. Musical performances, such as those by folklore singer Ángelo Aranda, were also part of the celebration.

Additionally, the Instituto de Asistencia Social (IAS) organized a free family bingo at the municipal sports center as part of a broader initiative by the Government of Formosa. IAS administrator Edgar Pérez noted that the event served to promote social responsibility policies and game regulation, while also previewing upcoming products like the ‘bingo show’.
