Laguna Garden Hotel to host special Aufguss event in Okinawa

Laguna Garden Hotel in Ginowan, Okinawa, will host a special Aufguss event at Safi Spa Okinawa on August 28, 2026. The event features Ryukyu heat wave masters performing specialized sauna rituals in an outdoor setting.

The program includes two scheduled sessions: Konao Fujita from the Okinawa Sauna & Spa Association at 18:00, and Shimo from Sauna no Shuto at 20:00. A special promotion allows participants to attend additional sessions on the same day at no extra cost, limited to the first 10 guests per session.

Participants can experience different styles of Aufguss, a performance where steam created by pouring water on hot stones is distributed using towels to provide heat and aroma. The outdoor sauna experience is designed to combine the tropical atmosphere of Okinawa with professional sauna techniques.
