Lagunasia to host winter illumination event starting November 2026

Lagunasia, operated by Laguna Tenbosch in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, will host its winter event, ‘Laguna Illumination: Carnival of Light and Water,’ from November 8, 2026, to April 4, 2027.

A major highlight is the new ‘Mysterious Shining Arch,’ a 100-meter-long illumination structure spanning a connecting bridge. The display features champagne gold, pink, and blue lights designed to resemble a mystical temple rising from the seabed. Additionally, a collaboration with Ken Matsudaira titled ‘Matsuken★Illumi Land’ will run from November 14, 2026, to February 14, 2027, featuring giant lanterns and fountain shows.

The event also includes a Christmas market, 360-degree 3D mapping, and various entertainment shows. The illumination at Lagunasia previously received the first prize for Excellent Technology at the International Illumination Award 2025.
