Lahj Governorate launches relief convoy for frontlines and local families

The local authority in Lahj Governorate has launched a major relief and support convoy aimed at assisting armed forces stationed at the frontlines in the Al-Mudarabah and Ras al-Ara districts. The initiative also targets families living near the contact lines who have been affected by ongoing confrontations.

Launched in the Tuban district, the convoy consists of dozens of medium and large trucks carrying diverse food supplies, water, and juices for military personnel, as well as food baskets for displaced and affected families. The operation follows a community mobilization call previously announced by the Governor of Lahj, Murad Ali al-Halimi.

Abdul Fattah Haitham, head of the mobilization and support committee, stated that the coordination between official authorities and the community serves as a vital support system for those defending the governorate's borders. Local officials emphasized that these efforts will continue to ensure the humanitarian and logistical needs of both the frontlines and the surrounding civilian areas are met.
