Lahnstein Intercultural Women's Café celebrates 10th anniversary

The Intercultural Women's Café in Lahnstein celebrated its tenth anniversary at the Jugendkulturzentrum Lahnstein (JUKZ). The event brought together approximately 70 guests, including local officials such as Rhineland-Palatinate Minister Sabine Bätzing-Lichtenthäler and Mayor Lennart Siefert.

What began a decade ago as monthly meetings for a small group of women has evolved into a weekly service providing support for language acquisition, schooling, employment, and social integration. The café operates through cooperation with several organizations, including the Catholic Family Education Center and the Network for Child Welfare and Child Health.

During the celebration, the second intercultural cookbook was introduced. The publication features 17 recipes from 16 women and includes personal stories regarding childhood, home, and identity.
