Lahore employer accused of raping 15-year-old domestic worker

A 15-year-old Christian domestic worker has been allegedly raped at gunpoint by her employer in Lahore, Pakistan. The victim, referred to by the pseudonym “Maria,” had worked as a cleaner at the residence of Muhammad Mohsin for approximately five years.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on 15 August 2026. The accused allegedly used a firearm to threaten the teenager before the assault and subsequently threatened her with serious consequences if she disclosed the attack. Following the incident, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered on 18 August 2026 under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

While police conducted a raid and detained the suspect, Mohsin was later released after obtaining pre-arrest bail from an Additional Sessions Judge in Lahore. The victim’s family has raised concerns regarding the initial response and urgency of the police investigation.
