Lai Chau police detain 29‑year‑old suspect in 19 million VND theft

On 22 July 2026, residents of Suối Lĩnh village in Pắc Ta commune, Lai Châu province reported a burglary in which 19,080,000 VND was stolen from the home of Lường Thị Phương. Local police promptly secured the scene, gathered evidence and began an investigation. Within 24 hours, investigators identified the perpetrator as Tráng A Pò, a 29‑year‑old resident of Suối Lĩnh, and summoned him for questioning. Tráng A Pò admitted to the theft, and the police recovered the full amount of money.
