Laikey Laikaa release delayed to February 2027

The romantic drama Laikey Laikaa, starring Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma, has faced several production shifts, including extensive reshoots and a delayed release date. Originally planned for a 2026 release, the film is now reportedly scheduled for February 2027.

Production sources indicate that a 20-day reshoot was conducted for creative reasons, which increased the film's budget from Rs 23 crore to Rs 30 crore. The decision to postpone the release to February 2027 is also linked to the inclusion of a special dance number featuring Rasha Thadani. The filmmakers aim to capitalize on the popularity of her previous musical performance in the film Azaad and intend to leverage the romantic associations of the February release window.

Directed by Saurabh Gupta, the film is described as an intense romantic-action thriller or dark love story. The project marks the first on-screen pairing for Thadani and Verma.
