Lajna series to receive feature film adaptation

The popular Czech series ‘Lajna’ is being adapted into a feature film titled ‘Lajna – konečně film!’. An official trailer has been released for the project, which serves as a continuation of the three original series.

Returning cast members include Jiří Langmajer as hockey coach Luboš Hrouzek, Hana Vagnerová as Deniska, and Václav Neužil as Robin Guha. The film is written by Petr Kolečko and produced by Daniel Strejc. The production features expanded hockey sequences, some of which were filmed at the Mattoni Arena in Karlovy Vary with hundreds of extras, while other footage was captured during the Winter Olympics in Milan.

The film is scheduled for a wide theatrical release in Czech cinemas on January 7, 2027. Pre-premiere screenings are planned for December, including events in Brno and a large-scale projection at the Mattoni Arena in Karlovy Vary.
