Laka to launch Magic Lip Fixer in Japan

The South Korean gender-neutral cosmetics brand Laka is launching its "Magic Lip Fixer," a product designed to secure lip color and maintain a glossy finish for extended periods. Developed over two years with more than 90 sample tests, the product is the second phase of the brand's "Long-lasting Lip Project."

Utilizing a "lip coat formula," the fixer creates a thin, transparent coating on the surface of the lip color to prevent smudging and transfer. It is compatible with various lip textures, including both matte and glossy finishes, and is designed to provide a plump, glowing effect without feeling heavy or tight on the lips. Users are advised to apply a thin layer and allow it to dry for approximately two minutes.

In Japan, the product will be available for pre-sale on Qoo10 starting August 10, 2026, followed by a wider release in variety shops across the country on August 21, 2026. The retail price is 1,980 yen.
