Lake Como captains form professional network to foster collaboration

On September 24, 56 professional captains and nautical experts operating in the first basin of Lake Como gathered in Como for a social dinner aimed at fostering collaboration and sharing experiences. The initiative originated from a WhatsApp group that currently includes approximately 110 operators from various companies and backgrounds.

The event served as a platform for professionals to build relationships outside of their daily work environments and discuss the future evolution of the sector. The group intends to establish a dialogue with local economic, associative, and institutional entities regarding issues affecting the nautical and tourism industries, particularly as tourism in the region continues to grow.

During the meeting, Alessandro Rizzo, who promoted the initiative and organized the event, was spontaneously appointed as the group's coordinator and primary contact.
