The Villa d’Este Style Vintage Yachting 2026 event took place on Lake Como, bringing together collectors, owners, and maritime enthusiasts to celebrate Italian nautical heritage. Organized by Villa d’Este in collaboration with the Associazione Scafi d’Epoca e Classici (ASDEC) and the Museo Barca Lariana, the gathering featured a fleet of historic watercraft with over fifty years of history.

The 2026 edition adopted Futurism as its central theme, honoring the 1920s era when Lake Como was a hub for high-speed motorboat racing and technological innovation. The event included a scenic procession from the central basin of the lake to the Cernobbio marina, followed by a public exhibition in the hotel’s lakeside park.

Notable vessels on display included the Riva Acquarama Sophia Loren and the 1962 Villa d’Este Super, a rare example powered by a 6.8-liter Chrysler V8 engine. The event also showcased hulls belonging to renowned figures such as speedboat champion Guido Cappellini.
