Lake Garda highlights Italian culinary and landscape traditions

Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, continues to attract visitors with its combination of mountain scenery and traditional lifestyle. The region is noted for its culinary heritage, including handmade pasta such as tortellini in Valeggio sul Mincio and Nodi d’Amore.

Local traditions also include the production of lemon liqueurs using citrus from 400-year-old gardens on the western shore, as well as artisanal gelato production in Salò.
