Lake Garda photography exhibition opens at Rocca di Lonato del Garda

The exhibition ‘Benàcus: il Garda e le sue colline’ is currently being hosted at the Rocca di Lonato del Garda in Brescia, Italy. The showcase serves as a tribute to the late photographer Giorgio Attilio Mutti (1953-2026), who spent forty years documenting the natural heritage of the Lake Garda region.

The exhibition features fifty evocative photographs capturing the changing seasons of the local landscape, including the spring anemones, summer cliffs of Monte Sasso, autumn mulberry trees, and winter flora. The display is scheduled to run until January 6, 2027, in the Sala del Capitano.

Curator Costanza Lunardi noted that the exhibition aims to awaken awareness regarding the region's rich and fragile natural heritage, including its unique flora and fauna. The event will include a series of guided tours and conferences led by various specialists to further explore the territory.
