Lake Geneva diver recovers lost diamond engagement ring

A diamond engagement ring was recovered from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, after being lost for 70 days. The ring slipped off the finger of a woman named Abigail while she was swimming near a floating trampoline.

A diver spent nearly nine hours across six different diving sessions to locate the jewelry. The search proved difficult due to thick seaweed and silt that obscured visibility. During the recovery process, the diver also retrieved various other items from the lake bottom, including coins, fishing lures, boat parts, and sunglasses.
