Los Gallos wins SailGP Switzerland Grand Prix in Geneva

Spain’s Los Gallos team secured victory at the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix on Lake Geneva, defeating the championship-leading Bonds Flying Roos of Australia in a winner-takes-all final. The win marks the third Grand Prix victory for the Spanish crew, led by Diego Botín, and officially books their place in the 2026 Grand Final in Abu Dhabi.

The Australian team, Bonds Flying Roos, finished as runners-up for the second consecutive event. Despite navigating challenging light-wind conditions during the qualifying stages, the Australians maintained a strong position in the overall championship standings.

Other notable performances included ROCKWOOL Racing of Denmark, which finished third, and the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team, which secured fourth place. New Zealand’s Black Foils narrowly missed the final, finishing just one point behind the qualifying threshold. The championship will now pause before the final two events in the United Arab Emirates in late November.
