Lakeside Shopping Centre to host Heroes & Dragons Festival

Lakeside Shopping Centre will host the free Heroes & Dragons Festival on Sunday, 13 September. The event will take place across two zones: The Dragon Zone and The Heroes Zone.

The Dragon Zone will feature dragon boat races on the centre’s 20-acre lake. The Heroes Zone, located at The Quay, will showcase emergency services including the police, fire service, paramedics, and the RNLI. Activities for families include live entertainment from DJs and drummers, arts workshops, face painting, and a meet-and-greet with Fireman Sam.

The festival aims to raise funds for Thurrock Young Carers, the centre’s Charity Partner of the Year.
