Lakewood-Amedex Biotherapeutics named B2i Digital Featured Company

Lakewood-Amedex Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: LABT) has been named a Featured Company by B2i Digital, Inc. The Sarasota, Florida-based clinical-stage biotechnology firm is currently preparing a Phase 2a trial for Nu-3, a topical Bisphosphocin gel designed to treat infected diabetic foot ulcers.

The company is developing the Bisphosphocin class of compounds, which are described as fast-acting, broad-spectrum antimicrobials intended to combat infectious diseases and antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains. Unlike many existing treatments, this class of compounds aims to physically disrupt the bacterial membrane to provide a high barrier to resistance.

Through the partnership with B2i Digital, Lakewood-Amedex intends to present its clinical programs and scientific milestones to a wider network of retail and institutional market participants.
