Lakis Lazopoulos dedicates new book to late wife

Greek personality Lakis Lazopoulos appeared on the television program ‘Studio stis 3’ to discuss his decision to write a book dedicated to the memory of his late wife, Tasoula.

Lazopoulos explained that the book was not intended as a personal narrative for himself, but rather as a way to honor his wife, who had remained a private figure throughout their years together. He stated, “The book was not for me. It was for Tasoula,” noting that he wanted to give her a place within his own history and ensure that her presence was recognized, even if she was no longer visible.

He also touched upon the emotional difficulty of the writing process, describing how certain memories would trigger intense grief, sometimes making it impossible to write for weeks at a time. He reflected on the relationship between humans and time, comparing it to a rider on a horse that must be followed regardless of the difficulty of the journey.
