Lakme Fashion Week: Actors share personal style philosophies

Actors Diana Penty and Veer Pahariya shared insights into their personal style philosophies during Lakme Fashion Week in Delhi.

Diana Penty served as the showstopper for designer Richa Khemka’s ‘Vesper’ collection. Penty expressed that she does not blindly follow online trends, preferring to adapt styles to suit her personality and comfort. She noted a particular affinity for the dramatic elements of 1980s fashion, such as power shoulders and big hair.

Veer Pahariya walked the runway for designer Pawan Sachdevaa, noting that the collection's relaxed aesthetic aligned with his own preferences. Pahariya emphasized that comfort and authenticity are vital to style, identifying ill-fitting clothes and excessive attention-seeking as fashion ‘red flags’. He also expressed a dislike for neon colors but maintained that confidence is the most important factor in any outfit.
