India U19 squad updated for Australia series amid player removal

The BCCI has updated its India U19 squad for the upcoming series against Australia, which includes three unofficial ODIs and two multi-day matches. Rohit Yadav has been removed from the squad following an investigation by the Cricket Association of Bengal, which found a 27-month discrepancy in his age records. He has been replaced in the ODI squad by Aryan Savasani and in the multi-day squad by Tanmay Baloda.

Lakshya Raichandani has been appointed captain of the India U19 white-ball side for the series, which begins on September 18 in Rajkot and Ahmedabad. Raichandani, a batter for Mussoorie Thunder, expressed his excitement regarding the leadership role and credited his preparation to the Dehradun T20 League.

The updated ODI squad features Lakshya Raichandani as captain, Yashvardhan Chauhan as vice-captain, and includes players such as Aryaveer Sehwag and Anvay Dravid.
