Lalamove announces new driver policies and reduced deposit fees

Lalamove has announced new policies for its driver partners to prepare for the year-end peak shipping season. The platform is maintaining a commission rate starting from 5%, allowing drivers to retain up to 95% of the trip value. Drivers are also granted the ability to select their own orders and combine deliveries to optimize operations.

To lower entry barriers for new drivers, Lalamove is reducing initial deposit fees by approximately 80%. For van and truck drivers (ranging from 430 kg to 22 tons), the deposit is reduced to 20,000 VND, while the fee for motorbike drivers is set at 10,000 VND. This move comes as the retail and e-commerce sectors prepare for major shopping events such as Black Friday, Christmas, and the Lunar New Year, which are expected to drive a surge in logistics demand.
