L’Alfàs del Pi completes 100 kW solar installation

The municipality of L’Alfàs del Pi has completed the installation of a 100.34 kWp shared self-consumption photovoltaic plant on the roof of the CEIP Veles e Vents school. The project utilizes 173 half-cell monocrystalline modules and a 100 kW inverter to generate electricity.

The energy produced will be used to supply several municipal buildings located within two kilometers, including the L’Alfàs + Social Center, to reduce public electricity consumption. The installation was executed by the renewable energy company Plasfoc. The project involved a total investment of 98,745.93 euros, which was fully funded by European NextGenerationEU funds through the 2022 Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan.
