Various Spanish towns host medieval markets and cultural festivals
Various municipalities across Spain are hosting seasonal cultural and commercial events.
In L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, the 30th edition of the Medieval Market will run from September 4 to 6, featuring approximately 100 stalls, a Witch Night, and fire spectacles. Arriondas is also hosting a Medieval Market at Parque de la Llera from September 3 to 6, including musical performances by Xalamut. Huércal de Almería will hold its inaugural Medieval Market from October 16 to 18 in the Plaza de la Constitución, offering artisan crafts and various shows.
Igualada is celebrating the 60th edition of its ‘Botiga al Carrer’ event, which has been extended to two days this year (September 4 and 5). The initiative includes new lighting for the Town Hall Square and a concert by Correfoc BAND to boost local commerce.
In Tarragona, the 13th International Theatre Festival (FITT) is underway, featuring 16 companies and various cultural activities, including the return of the ‘Palmeres’ promenade.
