LALIGA BARES launches Bar TV Mundial for FIFA World Cup 2026 in Spanish bars

LALIGA BARES, the LaLiga service for the HORECA sector, has begun distributing the Bar TV Mundial channel to its affiliated establishments. The channel will broadcast every match of the FIFA World Cup 2026, accompanied by continuous programming that includes previews, highlights, analysis and editorial content designed to enhance the fan experience throughout the tournament.

A LaLiga study found that one in four Spanish football fans prefers watching matches in a bar for the social atmosphere. Bar TV Mundial therefore offers round‑the‑clock coverage, historic footage and supplemental sports content such as MotoGP and Formula 1 through the DAZN Bar and DAZN F1 Bar channels. LALIGA BARES says the rollout reaffirms its role as a strategic ally to the hospitality sector, extending football’s presence in venues beyond the regular league calendar.

The service launches concurrently with the start of the World Cup, aiming to drive traffic and longer stays in participating bars across Spain during the summer months.
