LaLiga director discusses Real Betis transfer market status

Javier Gómez, the corporate director general of LaLiga, addressed the financial and squad status of Real Betis following the close of the winter transfer market. Gómez noted that while the club has had to manage its budget carefully to accommodate the signing of Dani Ceballos, its overall economic situation remains stable.

He highlighted that qualifying for the Champions League provides beneficial additional revenue for the club. Despite the challenges of managing a tightening balance as the window closes, Gómez stated that the club has the essentials in place, with approximately twenty-something players currently registered for matches.
