The Spanish women's professional football league, LaLiga F, has launched a second round of bidding for its audiovisual rights after initial offers failed to meet the established minimum price. The market's lack of interest follows the early departure of DAZN from its agreement and highlights concerns regarding the profitability of women's football broadcasting. The new bidding process is set to conclude on August 19.

In Ecuador, the Superliga Femenina 2026 has reached its final stage. Liga de Quito and Dragonas IDV will face each other in a two-legged final to determine the champion. The first leg is scheduled for August 22 at the Rodrigo Paz Delgado stadium, with the second leg following on August 29 at the Chillo Jijón stadium. Both teams finished the first stage with 53 points.

Meanwhile, in Peru, the Liga Femenina 2026 continues with its sixth matchday. Upcoming fixtures include Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal competing for the top spot, with matches scheduled between August 21 and August 23.
