LaLiga reschedules key matches due to Spanish Super Cup

LaLiga has decided to reschedule two major fixtures from matchday 23 to accommodate the Spanish Super Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, in February.

The matches between FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid, as well as Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, were originally slated for February 7. To ensure these clubs can participate in the Super Cup without pending league fixtures, the games will be moved forward to the first week of December, specifically between December 2 and December 4.

This scheduling shift creates a potential increase in player workload, as the new dates coincide with the second round of the Copa del Rey. The Super Cup semifinals are set for February 2 and 3, with the final scheduled for February 6.
