Lalín to launch new youth cycling school

A new youth cycling school is being established in Lalín, linked to the firm Zamborá and Javi Busto. The project aims to fill a historical gap in the Deza region, providing local training opportunities so children no longer need to travel to Santiago, O Salnés, or A Estrada to compete with a federated license.

The initiative is inspired by the development of 9-year-old Gael Surribas, a versatile beginner-category cyclist. Surribas currently competes in three disciplines: XCO, downhill (DH), and road cycling. The new school intends to allow local children to begin their cycling training within their own community.
