L’Altro Monferrato Festival hosts trek through the Milk Valleys

The “L’Altro Monferrato” Festival is expanding its reach from Piemonte to Liguria through a nature-focused excursion titled “Alla scoperta delle Valli del Latte.” Scheduled for August 30, the 12.5-kilometer trek begins at Molare station and concludes at Rossiglione.

The route traverses the Alta Val d’Orba and the Valle Stura, crossing regional borders through forests, pastures, and rocky areas. Participants will experience views of Monferrato and the Beigua mountains, as well as the Molare dam site. The trek, which takes approximately four and a half hours, is designed to highlight the rural landscapes and dairy production characteristic of the “Milk Valleys.” The itinerary includes stops for panoramic views and visits to local agricultural sites, such as Azienda agricola Batt.
