Lam Dong community initiatives support ethnic minorities

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) is intensifying community-based initiatives across Lam Dong province to improve living standards and support ethnic minority populations. These efforts focus on social welfare, environmental protection, and rural development.

In terms of social welfare, the VFF in Lien Hoa ward is mobilizing resources to rebuild homes for disadvantaged families, aiming to eliminate all temporary or dilapidated housing by the end of 2027. In other areas, the VFF is facilitating dialogues between citizens and local authorities to resolve issues regarding land use rights, capital access for agricultural production, and administrative reforms.

Environmental and infrastructure projects are also gaining momentum. In Nam Ban, ethnic minority communities are actively participating in waste management and environmental cleanup efforts. Additionally, the New Rural Development program has seen success through community contributions, such as residents donating land for the construction of communal cultural houses and infrastructure in villages like Dak Ram 3.
