Lam Dong conducts cybersecurity and data protection drills

Lam Dong province has launched a 2026 cybersecurity and personal data protection training and combat drill program. The initiative involves 320 participants divided into 36 specialized teams.

The program combines legal dissemination regarding the Law on Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection with practical skills training and real-world incident response simulations. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Cybersecurity Steering Committee, emphasized the need to shift from passive response to proactive prevention. He noted that as digital transformation accelerates, the risks of cyberattacks, data theft, high-tech fraud, and the spread of misinformation have become increasingly complex.
