Lam Dong FC returns to professional football in Vietnam First Division

Lam Dong Football Club has returned to professional competition after more than a decade, marking its debut in the Vietnam First Division. In their first match at Dalat Stadium, Lam Dong faced Ho Chi Minh City FC. Despite maintaining strong pressure throughout the game, Lam Dong suffered a 1-0 defeat due to a goal scored by Ho Chi Minh City in final stoppage time.

To support the team's resurgence, the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that all 13 home matches for the 2026-2027 season in the First Division, along with one National Cup match, will offer free admission to fans and tourists. The club's upcoming home schedule includes fixtures against various opponents such as Cong An Nhan Dan, Khatoco Khanh Hoa, and Dong Thap.
