Lam Dong officials inspect key coastal road projects

Officials from Lam Dong Province are conducting inspections to accelerate key coastal infrastructure projects in the eastern region, including the DT 719B coastal road segments. These projects, with a combined investment exceeding 2,200 billion VND, are critical for regional socio-economic development.

The Phan Thiet - Ke Ga segment of the DT 719B road, costing over 1,274 billion VND, has reached approximately 70% completion. While a 17.8 km stretch is already operational, progress on the remaining 3.88 km is delayed due to land clearance issues involving a titanium mine operated by Tan Quang Cuong Trading Co., Ltd. The project completion deadline has been extended to December 31, 2027.

The Hon Lan - Tan Hai segment, with an investment of nearly 664 billion VND, is currently at 35.5% completion and is expected to be finished by 2026. Delays for this segment have been attributed to the weak financial capacity of the construction contractor, leading to contract violations and penalties.
