Lam Dong police arrest suspect in jewelry store robbery

Police in Lam Dong province have arrested a suspect following a gold robbery at a jewelry shop. The individual, identified as T. V. P. L. (born 2007), allegedly feigned interest in purchasing jewelry before fleeing with a 2-mace gold ring.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:14 p.m. on October 2 at the K. C. jewelry store in Lac Nghiep village. After the suspect grabbed the ring and fled on a motorcycle, Lam Dong provincial police coordinated a search operation. The suspect was apprehended approximately 200km from the crime scene later that night while attempting to flee the province. Authorities have seized the stolen property and the vehicle used in the crime.
