Lam Dong Police Investigate Online Agricultural Fraud Case

Lam Dong provincial police are investigating Cao Thi My Linh, born in 1987 and residing in Da Lat, for the crime of fraudulent appropriation of property. Linh allegedly used multiple Facebook accounts, including names such as ‘KoKoRo’, ‘Moc Mien’, ‘Rau Sach Da Lat’, and ‘Huu Co Da Lat’, to pose as a major supplier of vegetables, fruits, and specialty dried goods.

Since January 2021, Linh reportedly used these social media platforms to deceive customers by promising high-quality products and timely delivery to secure deposits and full payments via bank transfers. Once the funds were received, Linh would sever contact and flee. Since September 2021, authorities have received numerous complaints from victims across various provinces regarding these online transactions.
