Lam Dong province reviews 166 rental villas in Da Lat

Authorities in Lam Dong province have conducted a review of 166 rental villas in the Da Lat area. According to the Department of Construction, 77 villas are being used for their intended purposes, while 89 properties face various issues.

Key challenges identified include legal and planning discrepancies, financial obligations regarding land and house rentals, and difficulties with site clearance. Some villas have had old structures demolished but have not yet seen new projects implemented or put into operation. Additionally, there are reports of disputes and violations in the management and use of these assets.

Nguyen Hong Hai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, has directed relevant departments to coordinate and establish specific handling plans for each problematic villa. The objective is to improve the management of public assets, prevent villas from falling into disrepair or remaining vacant, and ensure state assets are not lost.
