Lamadrid and Los Blázquez Municipal Gyms Open or Upgrade with New Facilities

A new municipal gym was inaugurated in Lamadrid, with the ceremony led by Mayor Magda Ortiz, regional subsecretary Sergio Sisbeles, Deputy Guadalupe Oyervides and representatives of Mejora Coahuila. The project was coordinated among the governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, the Lamadrid municipality and Mejora Coahuila to provide a dignified sports space for local families.

In Los Blázquez, Spain, the municipal gym received more than €71,000 of sports equipment funded by the Diputación de Córdoba through its 2022‑2023 provincial cooperation plan. Deputy of Infrastructures, Sustainability and Agriculture Andrés Lorite visited the site with Mayor María Zulima Perea and said, “the equipment provision was necessary because recent renovations left the building unusable,” adding that the funding covered machines, accessories, lighting and climate‑control systems to restore full use of the facility.
