Lambayeque region reports homicide and fatal traffic accident

In the Lambayeque region of Peru, two separate fatal incidents were reported.

In Chiclayo, 33-year-old Daewe Andersson Tarrillo Linares was found dead on a road near the Tocmope irrigation canal in the Samán populated center. Authorities determined he died from a gunshot wound to the face. Police records indicate Tarrillo Linares had previous reports of domestic violence. The motive for the homicide remains under investigation by the Homicide area of the Criminal Investigation Division.

In the Olmos district, a motorcycle accident resulted in two deaths on the old Panamericana Norte highway. The accident occurred when the driver, 42-year-old Ronald Yovani Maza Chávez, struck a cow. The impact caused the motorcycle to catch fire, leading to the death of Maza Chávez, while his passenger, 35-year-old Nolberto Pacherrez Serrato, died from injuries sustained during the fall.
