Lambertville expands Halloween art tradition into citywide trail
The Memory Maker's Trail of Magic is returning to Lambertville, New Jersey, for its second year, running from October 1 to October 31. The event expands upon a decades-long tradition started by retired art teacher Dolores Dragan, who was known for her elaborate handmade Halloween displays at her home on North Union Street.
To ensure the tradition continued after outgrowing a single location, Dragan partnered with the Lambertville Creative Arts Fund to transform the spectacle into a citywide, walkable art trail. The displays are spread across various shops, restaurants, and community spaces, including Bridge Street, North and South Union streets, North and South Main streets, Coryell Street, and Church Street.
The experience is free, self-guided, and open to the public. A new feature for the 2026 season is the introduction of a free audio tour, accessible via QR codes at participating locations, which provides stories related to the individual installations.
