Lambeti Theatre hosts return of Akis Dimou’s political comedy

The pop political comedy ‘Takounia ston Balto’, written by Akis Dimou, returns to the terrace of the Lambeti Theatre on Monday, August 24. Directed by Manolis Dounias and Emilios Cheilakis, the play offers a colorful look at the gray areas of public life and politics.

The plot centers on a wedding anniversary that descends into farce, involving a minister, his wife, an opposition official, an ambitious writer, and an up-and-coming journalist. As characters navigate old romances and hidden secrets, the group awaits the arrival of the Prime Minister at a reception.

The production features a cast including Emilios Cheilakis, Athina Maximou, Marianna Toumasatou, Alekos Syssovitis, and Dimitris Filippidis. Performances are scheduled for Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 21:00.
