Lamborghini delivers Temerario hybrid to Italian State Police

Lamborghini has officially delivered the new Temerario Polizia to the Italian State Police during a ceremony at the company’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The hybrid supercar, which produces 920 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, is intended for high-speed emergency missions, specifically the urgent transport of human organs, blood, and critical medical supplies.

This addition marks the seventh vehicle in a long-standing partnership between Lamborghini and the Italian authorities that began in 2004. Previous models used for these specialized duties include the Gallardo, Huracán, and the Urus Performante. Over the past two decades, these high-performance vehicles have assisted in the transport of more than 200 organs and participated in over 1,500 road safety and protocol events.

The ceremony was attended by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, and Renato Corteze, the central director of the police traffic and special units. The Temerario’s hybrid architecture provides all-wheel drive and enhanced stability, supporting its role in time-sensitive, life-saving medical logistics.
