Lamborghini Revuelto SV Sets Hockenheimring Lap Record Ahead of Monterey Debut
Lamborghini’s new Revuelto SV prototype recorded a lap time of 1:41.6 at Germany’s Hockenheimring, the fastest ever for a production‑type car on the circuit. The run was driven by factory test driver Marco Mapelli and was presented as a performance showcase ahead of the model’s official world premiere on 14 August at The Quail during Monterey Car Week in California. CEO Stephan Winkelmann said the result demonstrates the brand’s aim to raise performance, driver engagement and emotional appeal.
In parallel, Lamborghini announced the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a limited‑run of 99 units that celebrates the 60th anniversary of the iconic Miura. The edition features nine heritage‑inspired exterior colours, two‑tone liveries, and interior details such as cannelloni‑style seats and Miura‑branded embroidery. Both the SV record attempt and the Miura homage will be unveiled at the Monterey event, underscoring Lamborghini’s strategy to combine extreme performance with historic brand storytelling.
