Lamborghini Revuelto SV sets production car lap record at Hockenheimring

Lamborghini has announced that its new Revuelto SV (Super Veloce) has set the fastest lap ever recorded by a production car at the Hockenheimring in Germany. Driven by factory and test driver Marco Mapelli, the vehicle completed the circuit in 1:41.6.

Automobili Lamborghini selected the Hockenheimring to establish an internationally recognized performance benchmark, citing its combination of high-speed sections, heavy braking zones, and technical corners as an ideal testing ground. CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that the model represents an extraordinary expression of the company’s vision, aiming to elevate performance and driving engagement.

The Revuelto SV is scheduled for its world premiere on August 14 at ‘The Quail’ event in Monterey, California. This unveiling is part of Monterey Car Week, which will also feature the Uru SE Performante US debut and a special homage model celebrating the Miura.
