Lamborghini to unveil Revuelto SV at Monterey Car Week

Lamborghini is set to unveil the Revuelto SV (Super Veloce) on August 14 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week in California. This new high-performance version follows the brand’s tradition of creating more aggressive, track-focused models.

Development testing has taken place at circuits such as the Hockenheimring, where Lamborghini test driver Marco Mapelli recorded a lap time of 1:41.6. The SV variant features aerodynamic enhancements, including a larger fixed rear wing to replace the active wing of the standard model, a redesigned diffuser, and new air vents above the rear lights.

The vehicle utilizes a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors. While the current Revuelto produces 1,015 horsepower, there is speculation that the SV could approach 1,200 horsepower through upgrades to the thermal engine or electrical systems. The car is expected to feature lightweight components, such as new aluminum wheels and carbon fiber parts, to reduce weight. Performance specifications include a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 349 km/h.
